CSU Blows Through Northern Colorado 47-21

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Collin Hill completed 21 of 27 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns in his first career start to lead Colorado State to a 47-21 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday.

Hill also finished with 56 yards rushing with a touchdown. Marvin Kinsey Jr. led the Rams (2-1) with 97 yards on the ground and Michael Gallup, Olabisi Johnson, Elroy Masters Jr., and Robert Ruiz each caught scoring passes.

Hill had three of his five total TDs in the first quarter, including two passing and a 51-yard run. He added his second pair of scoring passes in the second and Wyatt Bryan kicked a career-long 53-yard field goal for a 38-0 Rams lead at halftime.

Northern Colorado (2-1) finally got on the board in the third with a pair of Kyle Sloter touchdown passes. Slotter finished with 318 yards passing.

The teams combined for 980 yards of offense and 53 first downs.
