Colorado Rockies 2017 Schedule Announced

DENVER (CBS4)- The 2017 schedule for the Colorado Rockies was released on Wednesday morning.

The Rockies will open 2017 on the road at Milwaukee for a four-game series April 3-6. The team will return home to Coors Field to host the Los Angeles Dodgers for three games beginning with the home opener on April 7 at 2:10 p.m.

The Rockies schedule also includes games at Coors Field on Mother's Day, May 14 versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, Memoiral Day, May 29 versus Seattle, Father's Day, June 18 versus San Francisco, Independence Day, July 4 versus Cincinnati and Labor Day, Sept. 4 versus San Francisco.

Those include fireworks shows on July 3 and July 4 after the games as well as Sept. 29.

The Rockies interleague schedule has the team playing all five American League Central teams for the first time since 2014 along with the American League West's Seattle Mariners.
