3 Suspects Arrested In Pueblo County Traffic Stop Shooting
PUEBLO, Colo. (AP/CBS4) - Pueblo County authorities have arrested three suspects wanted in connection with a shot fired at law enforcement officers.
According to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, two deputies and a Pueblo police officer were conducting a traffic stop at about 3:15 a.m. Thursday when a second vehicle drove by and fired a gunshot at them. Investigators say the vehicle sped off and was found a short time later with nobody inside.
Candelaria Dedmon, 25, was arrested during a search of the area, and her 19-year-old brother, Daniel Dedmon, turned himself in Friday. Joe Gaetano Romero, 36, was arrested after a brief car chase Friday afternoon. Angelina Padilla, 19, is being sought as a person of interest.
