THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) – Authorities are searching for the suspect in a possible kidnapping case that occurred early Saturday morning in Thornton.

Officers began to chase the suspect car on I-25, but called off the pursuit due to high speeds. Police say the victim and suspect appear to know each other. The woman called the man “Donovan.”

Denver Police blocked off streets around East 47th Avenue and Clark Place, the location where the female victim was found.
