DENVER (CBS4) - Doors Open Denver is coming up next weekend and Pauline Herrera Serianni, Executive Director of the Denver Architectural Foundation, stopped by CBS4 studios to talk about the event.

Doors Open Denver is an annual weekend celebration of Denver architecture and design featuring historic and modern spaces, many of them high profile such as Union Station where Doors Open Denver is headquartered.

"You can tour any one of our 68 open sites on your own or you can sign up for one of our insider tours which costs $10 each," Herrera Serianni said.

Some of the specific places include the Oxford Hotel, the Sugar Building, the Equitable Building and the Byron White Courthouse.

Some of the arts and cultural activities include jazz at Union Station, a pop-up museum in Lincoln Park and an opera performance at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. There's also screen printing in Globeville.

"I just really runs the gamut," Herrera Serianni said.
