SANTA CLARA, Calif. (CBS4) – The Denver Broncos landed at San Jose International Airport Sunday afternoon for Super Bowl 50 and when the “touched down” they were greeted by Mr. Touchdown, TD himself, former Broncos running back Terrell Davis.
“I am the ambassador for the Broncos and my job was to bring them good luck and … pass on my karma to them; that’s what I was here to do,” Davis said. “I think I did that, I feel good about that.”
Davis was the MVP in Super Bowl XXXII when the Broncos defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-24.
The team then boarded buses and traveled to Santa Clara to check in at the Marriott Hotel which will be their home base and home away from home for the next week. There were plenty of Broncos fans at the hotel to welcome the team to California.
