Investigators say Moscow made the threats through his therapist about wanting to do harm to the college and to one of the security guards there. He was seeking readmission to the community college and was upset that he was probably going to be denied.

His therapist contacted police. Moscow was placed on a 72-hour hold for a mental health evaluation. Officers obtained a search warrant for his home and found a semi-automatic rifle with several hundred rounds of ammunition. Police also found a handgun in his vehicle.

Moscow is a convicted felon and it is against the law for him to have firearms.
