DENVER (CBS4) – Police say a man used a shelving unit from a convenience store as a weapon.
According to police, Roberto Pachican, 24, took a large metal shelf from the 7-Eleven and started going after people with it.
“The … suspect exited the store and was in possession of a large metal shelf, which he took from inside the store and began going after a group of people outside the store,” police said in a statement.
The store is located at West 3rd Avenue and Santa Fe Drive.
Police asked the suspect to “drop the shelf” and eventually he was arrested.
Pachican was also wanted for an earlier assault.
