Republicans, CNBC Come To Agreement Over Debate In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The GOP presidential debate coming to Boulder this month is still a go.

The Republican National Committe and host channel CNBC have agreed on a format for the Oct. 28 debate on the University of Colorado campus after leading candidates threatened to drop out .

Donald Trump and others were upset at the length and the lack of opening and closing statements.

The debate will now be two hours long, including commercials.

Each candidate now gets to answer a single open-ended question at the beginning of the debate, as well as 30 seconds for a closing statement.

The debate, titled CNBC's Your Money, Your Vote: The Presidential Debate on the Economy takes place at 6 p.m. at the Coors Events Center. More information is available at cnbc.com/gop-debate-2016/.
