Surveillance Video Shows Robbers Taking Cash, Guns From Pawn Shop

EDGEWATER, Colo. (CBS4)- The ATF has released surveillance video of a brazen robbery at a pawn shop in Edgewater in hopes that someone might recognize the suspects. The ATF is also offering a $10,000 reward.

Two men and a woman entered the Fast Cash Pawn and Gold Center at 2551 Sheridan Blvd. about 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 4 with handguns. They forced 10 customers and employees to the floor.

They took cash from the store and employees along with four assault rifles, one AK-47-style and three AR-15-style rifles, along with ammunition and jewelry. They patted down the employees and customers and made them lie on the floor throughout the robbery.

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect 1 – Black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin, wearing black pants and black shoes with a black hoodie pulled up and black ski mask. He was also wearing black knit gloves with a stitched print of hand bones in white thread.  He carried a black firearm.
  • Suspect 2 - Black male, about 6 feet tall, about 250 pounds, stocky, wearing khaki-colored cargo pants, white long-sleeve t-shirt with black short sleeve t-shirt over top. He also wore a ski mask and blue surgical gloves.
  • Suspect 3 – Black female, wearing black pants and black shoes with a black hoodie pulled up and black ski mask. She was wearing black gloves.
  • Vehicle Description: 2000 silver 4-door Pontiac Grand Prix or Bonneville missing the right rear driver-side hubcap with no front or rear plates

"This brash daytime robbery is especially concerning because firearms were taken. We are fortunate no one was hurt. If anyone has information related to the robbery, we encourage them to come forward so we can take these criminals off the streets," said ATF Acting Special Agent in Charge Dave Booth in a statement.

There have been five pawn store robberies in the Denver metro area since November 2013 but only one other has involved stolen firearms. This robbery may be related to the others.
