THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)– A suspected bank robber was arrested by police after he used a taxi as a getaway car.

Police in Thornton arrested Jonathan Casias on Friday afternoon just moments after he allegedly robbed the Key Bank near 104th and Colorado Boulevard.

Witnesses told officers the robber got away in a taxi.

Investigators were able to track down the cab and arrested Casias.

He is facing charges of robbery and menacing.
