2 Men Enter Commerce City Home, Shoot Man On Couch And Flee
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Commerce City are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening.
According to police, the shooting occurred at a residence near 68th Avenue and Jasmine Street around 6:15 p.m.
Police said a 52-year-old man was shot in the abdomen while sitting on his couch in his home.
Two men went into the home, shot the victim and then fled, according to police.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital.
His condition is not known and the police watch commander told CBS4 he's not cooperating with investigators.
The relationship between the parties involved or the circumstances surrounding the shooting are not clear, but the watch commander told CBS4 that it does not appear to be random.
The incident is under investigation.
