DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Sheriff Department's newest member is already gaining praise.

Buddy is the newest narcotic detection dog to join the force. He was purchased after the death of Jack, who passed away from cancer last year.

Buddy is already earning his credibility. The healthy 3-year-old black lab recently uncovered drugs stashed in an impounded car.
