Deputies Nab 2 Accused In $30,000 Jewelry Heist In Weld County

MEAD, Colo. (CBS4) - Weld County deputies have arrested two suspects accused of stealing $30,000 worth of jewelry from a home in Mead.

The robbery happened on March 3. The suspects, Nicholas Frederick and Jesus Rodela, are now facing felony burglary charges.

"After a tenacious investigation the Weld County Strike Team developed suspects in this case and arrested them a short time later," the sheriff's office said in statement.

Investigators believe they have recovered most, if not all, of the stolen jewelry.
