KOA Radio's Andy Lindahl Tries One Last Time To Play For The Denver Outlaws

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Outlaws, the defending Major League Lacrosse champions, held open tryouts at the Broncos indoor facility on Saturday.

Last year four players at the tryouts earned an invitation to training camp. One made the team.

There were 30 players trying out this year, including Andy Lindahl from 850 KOA Radio.

"Maybe because I figured, you know, it's my last chance -- really at the end of the day it's my last chance to; and it's just something that I've always wanted to do," Lindahl said. "So I figured I'd take a shot. I love the sport of lacrosse … you can't ever get something like this back, so I thought I'd take one last swing at this before I'm too old to even try to run."

It's not know yet if Lindahl made the team.
