Denver Woman Halfway Done Running Across The World
DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver woman is literally running across the world to raise money for a local organization.
Karen "Casey" Cortese is running seven half-marathons on all seven continents in seven consecutive days.
Cortese has already finished races in Melbourne, Australia, Abu Dhabi and Paris. She will be in Africa on Wednesday.
Cortese is raising money for the organization Girls on the Run of the Rockies, which empowers young girls through running.
