Concrete Pumper Tips On CU Boulder Campus
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- A concrete pumper tipped Thursday afternoon while on a construction project on the University of Colorado Boulder campus.
The concrete pumper was part of a construction project on Folsom Field even though this part of the project is located near Boulder Creek and not next to the field.
Copter4 flew over the scene after the pumper tipped. A crane was being used to right the pumper.
There were no signs of leaking into the creek but all containment precautions were taken.
The driver had some scratches and bumps but was not seriously injured.
CU spokesman Bronson Hilliard said the accident appeared to have been caused by wet, unstable ground.
