Boulder Police Search For Suspects In Credit Card Theft
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder are searching for suspects in two cases involving stolen credit cards.
Investigators say two men and woman stole a victim's wallet from her purse in a grocery cart at the Whole Foods Market on Pearl Street on July 9. The suspects made hefty charges on her credit cards.
The suspects are described as a white female with dark hair wearing a dark green or gray dress and a black sweater, a white male, wearing a white baseball cap and blue and white striped shirt and a Latino male, wearing a brown or maroon baseball cap and a dark-colored polo shirt with white stripes.
Another identity theft happened Sept. 22 when a woman stole a credit card from the mail and later tried to use it at a store. When the clerk asked for identification the woman left the store.
She is described as a white female, 16-21 years old, wearing heavy makeup with shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing a hat and dressed in a black T-shirt with a possible Van Halen logo on it, colored belt and was carrying a white backpack.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the cases are related.
