FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – The Colorado State University Rams are going into the season with a defense that’s led by a fine corps of linebackers.

The Rams’ man in the middle is the pride of Greeley — Max Morgan. He and his teammates owe the University of Colorado Buffaloes one after CU’s victory last year.

“It’s a pride deal for us. Obviously they’re not in our conference, so regardless of that game, a lot of conference goals can still lie ahead of us,” Morgan said. “But it’s a pride deal and we want to know that regardless of them being in the bigger conference, some people looking down on us as their little brother, that we belong on the field with them and we can compete with anybody.”
