Boulder County Fair Shuts Out Exhibit With 29-Inch-Tall Woman

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - An attraction at the Boulder County Fair is no more.

Visitors can no longer see "Little Liz: The World's Smallest Woman."

Little Liz is just 29 inches tall and originally from Haiti. Boulder County officials said they had received complaints about exploitation so they cancelled the exhibit.

According to the Longmont Times-Call, another 29-inch-tall-woman exhibit, "Tiny Tina," was evicted by the New Mexico State Fair in 2008. Fair officials there called the act exploitation. She was allowed to return the next year after she wrote fair officials to say she didn't consider herself exploited.
