Canon City Woman Charged In Teen Drinking Investigation
CANON CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- A woman from Canon City is facing some serious charges after she allegedly provided liquor to minors.
Police caught dozens of teenagers drinking alcohol at a party in Canon City on Saturday night. Officers ticketed 24 minors and 12 adults between the ages of 18 and 21.
Corvet Griffin, 23, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, child abuse, obstruction of justice and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to the Canon City Daily Record, one of the teens brought her 21-month-old baby to the party. The baby was found sleeping on a bed in a room that had alcohol bottles and marijuana pipes on the floor.
The mother told police she had been drinking and smoking marijuana. The baby was released to the girl's grandmother.
