Denver Parks & Rec To Meet With Advisory Board Over Booze In Wash Park
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Parks and Recreation could make a decision on banning all alcohol at Washington Park Thursday evening.
On Wednesday Denver City Councilman Chris Nevitt met with residents about complaints related to alcohol at the park. Others oppose the move.
The department will meet with its advisory board Thursday evening and may implement a ban of up to 180 days to see how it would impact the park and others where 3.2 beer would still be allowed.
