Bank Robber Uses Gun In Heist At Wells Fargo Bank

DENVER (CBS4)- The FBI is teaming up with police in Denver to track down a bank robber who targeted the Wells Fargo Bank location on S. Colorado Blvd.

The robber walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 2043 S. Colorado Blvd. on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. with a handgun.

He demanded money and then ran away.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, about 6-foot-3 with a thin build.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
