Family Of Missing Woman Amy Ahonen Says Her Remains Have Been Found
DENVER (CBS4) – The family of a woman who has been missing since 2011 said her remains have been found.
According to the Denver police, the department received a "notification from an outside agency on possible DNA match on missing person Amy Ahonen."

Ahonen was last seen July 8, 2011, by her Denver roommate. It's thought Ahonen, a single woman, was going to go hiking in Clear Creek Canyon west of Golden. Her Jeep was found by Highway 6 after everyone realized she was missing, but it was unlocked with her keys, wallet and purse inside.
Ahonen's family said in a statement on Facebook that "some remains that were found have been confirmed to be those of our beloved Amy."
No other details have been released.
