Denver Police Want Help Identifying Attempted Home Invasion Suspects

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police would like the public's help locating two suspects who attempted to unlawfully enter a home and discharged a firearm.

According to police, last Sunday at 11:45 p.m. the suspects attempted to gain access to a house near 54th Avenue and Peoria Street.

"While attempting to enter the house the suspects fired a shot. The suspects then fled in a dark sedan," police said in a statement.

One suspect is described as a black or Hispanic man, 5-foot-9, 200 pounds with a stocky build and a goatee. The other is a black or Hispanic man, 5-foot-8, and 160 pounds. He was wearing shorts.
