Denver Public Schools Offers Look Inside New Downtown Headquarters
DENVER (CBS4) - CBS4 got a look inside the new headquarters for the Denver Public Schools.
The new DPS headquarters is located at 1860 Lincoln Street. The 270,000 square-foot building will be home to administration offices and the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School.
For parents working downtown, the school means not only are their children close, but their classrooms are enormous.
"For all the kids in the school to take advantage of everything that downtown offers – the library, even going to Union Station, the Art Museum, the Capitol; all the partners and businesses downtown that can support us," parent Tara Manathey said.
The Emily Griffith Technical School will also move into the building. Faculty members from that school say the new building will give their students many more hands-on opportunities to learn.
