DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) – A new Colorado-based company has developed a new app that helps users save 30 percent on food bills.

Eva Fry is the co-creator of Ikonomo. She says it is the only service available to tell users the very best place to shop for all personal grocery list needs.

“You can quickly type in your shopping list and see the best place to shop across the major Colorado grocery stores,” said Fry.

The service helps users find the place with the best prices based on location.

“We have King Soopers, Safeway, Walmart and Target in our inventory. When you sign up for the service it records your zip code and is able to tell you the deals based on your zip code,” said Fry.

Fry also says current users of Ikonomo are saving over $100 a month by typing in their personal grocery list and comparing prices.

Ikonomo will show the best deals at all major stores and compare those prices on over 100,000 products.

The app is currently only built for tablets, but the mobile phone app is in the works.
