Some DPS Students May Have Had Personal Info Stolen

DENVER (CBS4) - Approximately 100 students from three different Denver schools may have had their personal information stolen.

A school nurse had those personal records on a thumb drive that was stolen from her car.

It includes names, phone numbers and confidential health information but not Social Security numbers.

The info is on students at Eagleton Elementary School, Richard T. Castro Elementary School and Munroe Elementary School.

Investigators believe the break-in was random.
