20 Become Citizens At Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park
ESTES PARK, Colo. (AP) — Twenty people are new U.S. citizens after a naturalization ceremony in Rocky Mountain National Park.
The new citizens, who come from eight different countries, took their oath of allegiance at the Moraine Park Campground Amphitheater on Thursday afternoon. Rep. Jared Polis of Colorado was among those attending the ceremony.
Naturalization ceremonies for Colorado are usually held at immigration offices in Aurora but Rocky Mountain National Park has been hosting a naturalization ceremony once a year since 2008.
