Crews Work To Contain Glencoe Valley Fire
GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - Firefighters are working to contain a small wildfire burning in the foothills of Jefferson County.
The Glencoe Valley Fire was listed at 6 acres and was 50 percent contained Tuesday morning. Firefighters hope to have if fully contained by the end of the day.
Evacuation orders went out Monday evening for residents in a subdivision northwest of Ralston Reservoir but were lifted at 8 p.m.
A helicopter helped attack the fire and it didn't grow overnight.
