Airman Convicted Of Aggravated Sexual Contact

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — The Air Force Academy says a military police officer has been convicted of aggravated sexual contact against a female enlisted airman.

The academy said Monday that Senior Airman Aaron C. Stubbs was convicted in a court-martial Friday. He was sentenced Saturday to 15 months of confinement and to be dishonorably discharged, with a reduction in grade to airman basic. His sentence included forfeiture of all pay and allowances.

Stubbs was assigned to the 10th Security Forces Squadron.

The Gazette reports Stubbs was accused of forcibly removing the female airman's pants at her home on base last year and touching her genital area as her children were sleeping in her home. Defense lawyers contended there were inconsistencies in the woman's testimony.
