DENVER (CBS4)– Dozens of people gathered at the State Capitol on Saturday afternoon for a “Justice for Trayvon” rally.
Demonstrators called for civil rights charges against George Zimmerman who was acquitted in Florida last week in the teen’s death.
Coloradoans gathered for the rally which was one of more than 100 nationwide.
The Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network organized the rallies. Sharpton wants the Justice Department to pursue a case against Zimmerman.
