Former Police Officer Sentenced For 123 Sex Counts Involving Children
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A former Colorado Springs police officer has been sentenced to 70 years to life in prison.
Joshua Carrier was sentenced on Friday on 123 counts including sexual assault on a child, enticement of a child and unlawful sexual contact.
Carrier was arrested after allegations emerged that he had molested boys while a volunteer wrestling coach at Horace Mann Middle School in Colorado Springs.
Prosecutors said Carrier showed a pattern of abuse while in a position of trust.
