DENVER (CBS4) – She’s turned her passion into a marketing company, but the “idea company” is about more than just ideas.
Idea Marketing owner Patricia Lepiani is making her mark by serving the community.
“I love marketing,” Lepiani said. “I think marketing comes in my veins.”
Spend any amount of time with Lepiani and it’s easy to see why. She’s very animated and very funny.
“You can tell that I’m from the south of Colorado Springs myself because of my accent,” she joked, being from Latin America.
Lepiani has traveled all over the world, but she considers Denver home.
“Denver people are special,” she said.
What does she attribute to her success in business in Denver?
“There’s nothing more important in life than education. I had opportunities that I had because of education,” Lepiani said. “That’s the game changer.”
That game changer has helped to make her company Idea Marketing a growing success.
“We were named among the top 500 Hispanic businesses nationwide.”
She’s on the board of the Hispanic Chamber and volunteers her time at Mi Casa Resource Center mentoring children about the best way to make their mark.
“When I talk to kids; the only game changer in your life is education,” she said. “This is the place. This is the place where I want to raise my kids, because I want them to understand that it’s about all of us; it’s a village.”
