DENVER (CBS4) – Aisha Tyler hasn’t been to Denver for a while, but she’s making up for lost time with an agenda with a whole slate of activities.

The actress/comedian/writer is one of the hosts of the CBS show “The Talk”, which airs on CBS4 on weekdays at 1 p.m. She stopped by CBS4’s studios Friday for an interview with Brooke Wagner.

“It’s been amazing. I think we all feel like we’ve hit our stride on the show. We’re the fastest growing show on daytime television right now. Most of the time, we’re just trying not to say something that gets us bleeped!” Tyler said.

Tyler brings a comic edge to The Talk from her years in stand-up comedy. In fact, Tyler headlines shows this weekend at Comedy Works in Larimer Square. Showtimes are 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday night and 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on Saturday night.

She said Denver is one of her favorite cities, and she’s also here to speak at a Go Red for Women luncheon, promoting heart disease awareness. This incredibly busy, funny lady also spent weeks on the campaign trail, encouraging people to vote.
