Bikers Ride In Remembrance Of Emily Keyes

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - Thousands of motorcyclists took a ride Sunday in remembrance of Emily Keyes.

Each year bikers hit the streets for Emily's Parade. The ride starts at Columbine High School and finishes at Platte Canyon High School in Bailey.

Keyes' parents say the support from the community is overwhelming.

"We don't choose tragedy but we can choose our response. This community response is humbling. All I can say thank you," father John-Michael Keyes said.

The event raises money for the "I Luv U Guys" Foundation. Those were the final words that Keyes texted before she died. The foundation pushes for student and school safety.
