Gay Storyline Latest Controversial Move By Comic Books

DENVER (CBS4) - The comic book industry has never shied away from social controversies. From war to race to drug use, comics have helped redefine the perceptions of society.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody reported on the latest storyline to do just that.

"Breaking ground and stirring controversy is nothing new for the comic book industry. It has been doing it from the start," Moody said. "But now comes a first -- a superhero is proposing to his boyfriend."
