Red Light Camera Captures Video Of Car Smashing Into Motorcycle
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A motorcyclist was hit by a red light runner, and now he's in the hospital with serious injuries.
The crash was recorded by a photo enforcement camera on April 30.
It shows Greg Edwards coming through Chambers and Iliff when a car driven by Chante Thomas, 20, runs a red light and slams into him.
The light had been red for about six seconds when the car went through.
Edwards has a broken leg and ankle fracture. Police say his helmet likely saved his life.
