2 Killed, 1 Injured After Car Rolls Near Rifle
RIFLE, Colo. (CBS4) - New details have been released about a deadly high-speed chase in Garfield County.
CBS4 has learned there was a third person in a car that rolled, ejecting and killing two others. The third man was taken to the hospital.
The crash happened Monday after an officer tried to pull over a Nissan Maxima that was speeding through a construction zone off Interstate 70 near Rifle. Colorado State Patrol called off the chase but a few miles down the road the car rolled, ejecting all three men inside.
The crash is still under investigation.
No names have been released.
