Airman Back In Custody After 2 Days On The Run
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - An Air Force airman is back in military custody after two days on the run.
Herbert Mullens was captured Friday in El Paso County. He slipped away after a pretrail hearing at Peterson Air Force Base.
Mullens had been in court facing several charges, including drunk driving and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. During a bathroom break he fled.
Authorities say Mullens spent the next two days in the forest between Woodland Park and Colorado Springs.
