Firefighters Save Cat From Townhouse Fire
DENVER (CBS4) - Firefighters quickly responded to a townhome fire in Curtis Park.
The fire happened around 7:45 p.m. Saturday at 27th and Arapahoe. When firefighters responded flames were shooting out of the second floor balcony and started spreading to the third floor.
Nobody was hurt because no one was home when the fire began. Firefighters saved the family cat.
"It's the most important thing that was in there. She was the only thing that I really cared about. I know my son is safe and this is the only other thing that I was worried about. She's okay now," fire victim Courtney Kolva said.
The family has no idea what started the fire. Fire investigators think it might be electrical.
