Tow Truck Dragging Death Trial Jurors View Crime Scene
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Jurors in the trial of a woman accused of dragging a tow truck driver to his death investigated the crime scene.
Detra Farries is accused of deliberately driving off in an SUV as the vehicle was about to be towed.
The tow driver, Allen Rose, got caught in the cables and was dragged for a mile. He was killed. Farries is facing multiple charges including vehicular homicide and felony hit and run for the Feb. 2010 death in Colorado Springs.
In addition to visiting that scene, jurors also traveled the same route where Rose was dragged.
A memorial for Rose was covered up at the request of the defense who said it could influence the jury.
