Bomb Squad Declares Home Depot Parking Lot In Golden Safe

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Golden on Tuesday afternoon responded to a parking lot of a Home Depot store after someone discovered a briefcase sitting there.

There was no word on how long the briefcase had been there or who it belonged to.

As a precaution, Golden authorities called in the bomb squad.

The store remained open.

It turned out there was nothing in the suitcase.
