Military Brides Try On Free Wedding Dresses

DENVER (CBS4)- Dozens of brides lined up early Friday morning for a free wedding dress. D'Anelli Bridal in Lakewood continued their Veterans Day tradition for military brides this year.

The bridal shop gave away 25 dresses Friday morning.

Some brides-to-be lined up at 4:30 a.m. so they wouldn't miss out on the giveaway.

"It was very important to me because my husband is deployed. I can't wait for him to get home and see me in a pretty dress," said bride Jenna Widham.

In order to qualify for the free wedding dress, the bride or her fiance must have served in a war zone in the past five years. The couple also must be getting married in the next 18 months.
