Denver Has More Small Businesses Than Most Large Cities

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - Metro Denver ranks 17th among 938 U.S. cities for its number of local businesses, but a higher proportion of those companies are small than most other large urban areas.

That's according to data collected by G. Scott Thomas, whose "On Numbers" blog covers demographic trends for The Business Journals.
