Mushroom Possession Charge Dismissed

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - A judge has dismissed a charge of possession of psychedelic mushrooms against a Boulder man after the Colorado Bureau of Investigation determined they were not mind-altering.

However, 47-year-old Warren Dennis still faces a slew of other charges, including possession of marijuana.

According to the Aspen Daily News, public defender Tina Fang told Judge Gail Nichols that the mushrooms were innocuous and the state confirmed it.
