Missing Dog Found 6 Months Later, Thousands Of Miles From Home

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- More than six months after a dog disappeared from his Boulder home, he's been discovered thousands of miles away.

The Labrador mix, named Buster Brown, turned up at an animal shelter in Salinas, Cali. The dog had a microchip and the shelter sent a letter to the last known address for that chip.

It's not clear how Buster ended up in California. He will be reunited with his owner on Friday.
