2 Inmates Found Dead In Unrelated Cases

DENVER (AP) - The deaths of two inmates found dead in their cells in separate jails in Denver and Aurora Saturday are under investigation.

In Denver, a 51-year-old male was found dead in his cell at the Van Cise-Simonet Detention Center. Authorities say there was no sign of foul play but will perform an autopsy to discover how he died. He wasn't named pending family notification.

In Aurora, an inmate was found dead hours after being released from the hospital. That inmate, Anthony Dominic DeDora, was arrested Friday for violation of a court order. DeDora was taken to Aurora Medical Center at 4 p.m. for an unspecified condition and released just after midnight.

An Aurora guard found DeDora unresponsive a few hours later and called paramedics. DeDora went back to the hospital and was pronounced dead.
