Teen Allegedly Abused 5 Different Boys In Parker

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - A 16-year-old accused of sexual assaulting five young boys in Parker is being charged as an adult.

Grant Petta is being held at the Marvin W. Foote Center, a juvenile corrections center, on a $150,000 bond. He has been there since his arrest on November 22.

Petta faces 11 felony charges that include sexual assault on a child and child enticement. The victims' ages range from 7 to 11 years old and police say Petta knew all the victims but was not related to any of them.

The assaults that have been reported all allegedly took place between June and September of last year at the Stroh Ranch Subdivision on Stroh Ranch Drive, near South Parker Road. Police didn't say if that is where Petta lives.

Investigators first learned of the situation when they were contacted by the parents of a 7-year-old who claimed to have been sexually assaulted and kidnapped.

"Because of this pattern of abuse, there could be additional victims out there and if there are, we want to make sure their voices are heard and we want to make sure we provide them the resources they need," said Parker police spokeswoman Sgt. Doreen Jokerst.

Authorities say it's possible there may be other victims due to the pattern of abuse that they say took place in the case.

Parker police are asking that anyone with information about the case contact Detective at Wilson at (303) 805-6561.
