Intrawest Moving Headquarters To Denver

DENVER (AP) - Privately owned ski resort owner and operator Intrawest is moving its headquarters from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Denver by the end of the year.

Intrawest CEO Bill Jensen announced the move Tuesday to the company's employees, saying the move brings senior management closer to Intrawest's core business assets. Details of the move were not immediately available and Intrawest did not immediately return calls left by The Associated Press.

Intrawest owns Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. and manages Denver-owned Winter Park Resort in Colorado. The company also owns or operates ski resorts in West Virginia, Vermont and Canada, as well as resort properties in Hawaii, Florida, California and Ontario, Canada.
